This month is a little different — we’ve just been featured in FT Adviser off the back of what we’re seeing more and more of:
- Americans moving capital (and sometimes themselves) out of the US,
- British talent returning home after years in LA or New York.
There’s a lot of uncertainty right now around what life in the US looks like, especially for internationally mobile artists, athletes, and entrepreneurs.
It’s interesting: we’re still seeing plenty of talent move to the US, but just as many now looking to go the other way. Different motivations, same complexity.
I sat down with FT Adviser last week for a Q&A to talk through what we’re seeing, the risks people overlook when relocating, and how to make these moves work from a tax, structure, and planning perspective.
